International Bear Convergence (IBC) is the premier winter event for Bears & admirers in Palm Springs, California, February 2-8, 2016. This desert oasis opens its arms and welcomes you to the hip Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs to thousands of frisky, furry bears, their friends & their fans.

The four-day event will come to life with DJs, live entertainment and thousands of bears from around the globe. The last two years were hugely successful and we expect more of the same in 2016 with record-breaking attendance.

During the day kick back like a rock star and enjoy themed pool parties with music provided by world renown DJ’s at the fabulous Hard Rock pool. With multiple bars, cabanas and outdoor lounge areas you’re destined to have a fantastic day. After the sun goes down, evenings will heat up with three high-energy dance parties.

Saturday's main dance event will feature a live performance by the incomparable Kristine W. This years IBC's pool parties & dance events will highlight several top DJs from around the globe including: Roke Cabrera from Barcelona, Doug Jackson of Fort Lauderdale, DJ Eric Ornelas Palm Springs, DJ Callahan of Los Angeles, DJ Chub Jim of Palm Springs and Byron Bonsall from San Francisco.

IBC is the first winter event capable of hosting 4,000+ bears, muscle bears, cubs, chasers, chubs and admirers in Palm Springs. This premier gay destination offers travelers top-notch nightlife, casino action; award-winning restaurants, world-class golf and an aerial tram experience 6,000 feet above sea level. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, World’s Largest Rotating Tramcar, you will experience a breathtaking journey up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon. Begin the 10 minute ride at the Valley Station – elevation 2,643 ft. and end at the Mountain Station – elevation 8,516 ft. Getting to Palm Springs is easy from anywhere around the world. All major airlines fly into Palm Springs International Airport, which is about a mile from the host hotel. There is complimentary shuttle service to and from Palm Springs International Airport. There are three other major international airports close by incase you want to visit other parts of Southern California before you get to Palm Springs.

  • Los Angeles International Airport- 2 hour drive to Palm Springs
  • Ontario International Airport- 1 hour and 15 minute drive to Palm Springs
  • San Diego International Airport- 2 hour drive to Palm Springs
  • Las Vegas is only a 4 hour drive to Palm Springs!
